Biography

Olive Abigail (Halliday) Noakes was born in 15 May 1904 in Narrandera, New South Wales, Australia[1]. Her parents were James Hamilton Halliday (1872 - 1954) and Ellen Sarah (Thorn) Halliday (1878 - 1950).

Olive's siblings included:

  1. Otway Graham Halliday (1902 - 1958)
  2. Gertie Ellen (Halliday) Mulley (1906 - 1990)
  3. Dulcie Martha (Halliday) Mulley (1906 - 1990)
  4. Freda Annie (Halliday) Noakes (1909 - 2000)

  6. Thelma Violet Halliday (1921 - 1957)
  7. James Edward Halliday (1923 - 1983)

At the age of 18 Olive married Harold James Noakes (1900 - 1978) in 1923 in Camden, New South Wales[2]

Olive died on 30 August 1991 at the age of 87, in Camden, New South Wales, Australia[3].
