Biography
Johnnie Halfacre is a part of US Black heritage.
Johnnie Halfacre was born about 1898 in Tennessee, to father John Halfacre and an unknown mother.[1]
She married Alexander Carothers on 1 February 1916 in Davidson County, Tennessee.[2]
For many years, she was an active Red Cross and Meharry Medical College volunteer in Nashville.[3][4][5] [6]
Johnnie (Halfacre) Carothers passed away on 27 January 1985 in Nashville, and was buried at Greenwood Cemetery.[7]
