Biography

There is confusion as to if Benjamin is Thomas's son or his grandson through his son Thomas. Thomas the father had no children from 1728, the date of his second marriage, to 1744, which is a long time. Thomas the son did not record a marriage until 1747. Esther and Benjamin are placed as Thomas's daughter and son but it is by no means certain - Thomas the older may be the father and a 3rd wife "Mary" the mother, or Thomas the younger may be the father and an unknown 1st wife the mother, who died before 1747 and his known marriage.^[1]
