I am pretty new to Wikitree. My paternal grandmother’s maiden name was Jennie G Harmon She was born in Morristown, Vermont. Her parents were Corris Cate and Levi Harmon. The Harmon family settled in W. Gloucester where they had a farm. Harmons were among families that moved to Maine and helped found New Gloucester. My Harmon ancestors we’re from around York Country, Me.

Hi!

Thanks for joining us! I’m David, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.

Did you have fun learning your way around WikiTree?

I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer about using WikiTree?

If you have any questions click my name above, then ask in the comments section on my profile or send me a private message.

Hi F

You have been a member about a week. How is it going so far. Were the pages of the How-Tos helpful or did they leave you with questions?

When you click the green tags on your profile page, you can see if other members are following that tag. Add locations, Country, County or town the more tags you add the more links to community & research options

If you get a "Page Not Found" error when you click the link, you can find a working version in the public comments on your profile.

Any problems or queries just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find a project for your ancestors after you have added the ancestors, with locations and researched sources.

Let me know if you have trouble finding the best projects. Just ask on my page.

Thank you for volunteering. You are now a full member of WikiTree.

Start with the New Member How-To Pages - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around:

Let me know if you require assistance. I am happy to help. After adding my own family and ancestors I have found many cousins and distant ancestors here on WikiTree.
