I did not want to take the liberty of changing your profile data, but do want to let you know that John Haines's death date was November 1728. On page 38 of Vol. I of "Richard Haines and His Descendants," John W. Haines writes that his will was dated 04 Nov 1728. His property was inventoried on 14 Nov 1728, and his will was probated on 21 Nov 1728. These dates are confirmed by the New Jersey Calendar of Wills, Vol. I 1670-1730. I include source citations and a link to NJ Calendar of Wills below:

Donna I've purchased your book on Amazon. I found the price to be extremely reasonable. Thanks for all your research on this direct ancestor of mine. Leigh Anne
P.S. And thanks to the profile PM's for all your work too, it's highly appreciated.
Which Richard are you referring to Senior or Junior? And would you want to explain his demise in more detail? I see a Samuel Haines came in 1635 on the Angel Gabriel in 1635 with a great ship wrecked at Pimaquid Point Maine from New England. Samuel an apprentice to J. Cogswell. Is that the same ship-wreck? Richard isn't listed on this passenger list under this ship. I have not looked at the whole list. Are you telling us that the children here are not correct? http://genealogy.the-spanglers.net/passenger%20list.pdf
Everything on the internet, Ancestry, Rootsweb, and here on WikiTree about Richard and Margaret and their son John's birth is TOTALLY INCORRECT.
I set out 30 years ago to find better information. I have just published on Amazon, my book showing proof of John's correct birth in 1663 and the birth and death of a daughter, Anna, in 1661, as well as the probable birth of Richard himself. I will be sending copies to various libraries and to the archives in England, but right now it's available on Amazon for $10.00.
