OBITUARY. THE LATE MR. T. HADDLETON, SEN.—The funeral of the late Mr Thomas Haddleton, sen., of Compantine, who died yesterday week from pneumonia supervening upon influenza, took place in the Katanning Cemetery on Saturday afternoon last. The cortege was a very large one, it being estimated that over 200 residents of Katanning and district following. The late Mr Haddleton, who attained his 73rd year on February 14 last, was one of the early settlers in the district, and was looked upon as a thoroughly practical farmer, and was held in the highest respect. He left a widow, five sons, eight daughters and eleven grandchildren to mourn his loss. Elsewhere the family return thanks for the sympathetic mes sages received by them in their bereavement.
