Mike Schindler

As a Schindler, (American with Clausthal, German roots), I have been watching you each week as you add to your family tree. It's pretty obvious you are going to have one of the most extensive family trees in the Schindler project, and one of the premier wikitree family trees.

Keep up the good work--your results are finally showing up numerically on the Schindler Name Study projects weekly reports. Good luck and congratulations.

Thank you for your comment. A part of my family, but not really Schindler lived in Erlach, Oberkirch near Offenburg, Baden Germany. I check the online book of Erlach for 1812 to 1830 for more information. On this way I am adding all the names I found in the book and Schindlers are a great family.

thank you for your interest of family Brokosch, Prokosch. This family name in found for two women in the 18th century of my tree. They also comr from Troatin. At the moment they are not really in the focus of my research. I like to find out how the names are connected to each other form the 18th century until beginning of the twentieth century around my family around Muttersdorf near Bischofteinitz. So I check the entries of the book Mutenin05

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
