Zsa Zsa (Gábor) Gabor is Notable.

Zsa Zsa Gábor was a Hungarian-American actress and socialite.[1]

Sári Gábor was born February 6, 1917 in Budapest, Hungary. [2] [3][4][5] She was the middle of three daughters born to Vilmos and Jolie Gábor.[3]

Zsa Zsa began her career in Vienna. She was next crowned Miss Hungary in 1936, but later lost the crown due to an issue with her application.[1][4]

Zsa Zsa emigrated to the United States in 1941 in the midst of World War II to join her sister Eva, and became a sought-after actress with "European flair and style," with a personality that "exuded charm and grace."[6] She started in television, then landed her first film part, a supporting role in "Lovely to Look At" in 1952.[6] Her later roles were in "We're Not Married!" and in "Moulin Rouge" also in 1952.[6] She was in further small roles, many in B-movies or doing cameos of herself.[4]

Outside of her acting career, Zsa Zsa is well known for having nine husbands. She once stated, "Men have always liked me and I have always liked men. But I like a mannish man, a man who knows how to talk to and treat a woman – not just a man with muscles."

When not seeking out new loves, Zsa Zsa was often involved in lawsuits. She was either being sued or suing someone, especially for defamation, throughout her years.[7] Despite her litigious nature, she loved the spotlight, which reflects much of her popularity through the years. She enjoyed being the center of attention.

Her first marriage was in 1937 to Burhan Belge, a Turkish politician.[8][4][2][9] Zsa Zsa married second Conrad Hilton, the hotel magnate, in 1942.[8][10][11][6] She had her only daughter, Francesca, with Conrad.

Zsa Zsa's third husband was actor George Henry Sanders, married in 1949, who later married her sister, Magda, on April 4, 1970.[12][13]

Her fourth husband was Herbert Hutner, a lawyer and philanthropist. She married him in New York, November 5, 1962.[14] She filed for divorce February 28, 1966 in Juarez, Mexico. It was granted March 3, 1966.[15]

Zsa Zsa married Texas oilman Joshua Cosden Jr fifth. She filed for her marriage license in Santa Monica March 4, 1966, and they were married March 9, 1966. They were divorced in Juarez, Mexico October 18, 1967.[15]

Zsa Zsa's sixth marriage was to Jack Ryan, the inventor of the Barbie doll, January 21, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nevada.[16] She filed for divorce January 21, 1976 and it was granted August 25th, 1976.[17]

Zsa Zsa married her divorce attorney, Michael O'Hara seventh, three days after her divorce from Ryan was finalized, August 28th, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada.[16][8]

Her eighth wedding was with Felipe de Alba, a Mexican actor and attorney, April 9, 1982, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This marriage lasted only one day because her divorce from O'Hara was not yet final.[18][8]

Zsa Zsa's last marriage was to Hans Lichtenberg, better known as Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt.[6][8] They remained married until her death. He is known for throwing parties in her honor on her birthday.[19] He fought her daughter for power of attorney to care for her in her most difficult years, through her declining health.[6]

Zsa Zsa was left partially paralyzed after a 2002 auto accident.[6] One leg was amputated after an infection in 2013.[6] Zsa Zsa was in and out of the hospital with health troubles, and eventually died of heart failure December 18, 2016, in Los Angeles, California, the same day her adopted son, Oliver Prinz von Anhalt, died in a motorcycle accident.[19][6]

She wished to be, and was interred, next to her sister, Eva Gabor at Westwood Memorial Park, Los Angeles, California. [19][4] Some of her ashes were reinterred in Hungary. [20]

She was before my time. Quoted as saying "I'm a good housekeeper. Every time I leave a man, I keep his house." With 9 marriages, that is quite a few houses! She reminds me of Lola Montez (1821-1861)[1] who precipitated an abdication. Both were equally totally selfish.
