Biography

Veronica (Guthrie) Collins has Irish ancestors.

Veronica was born to John and Mary Theresa Burns Guthrie on 20 Jan 1898 in Punxsutawney.

She married Robert E. Collins, the widower of her maternal aunt, Jane Burns Collins, from which she became the stepmother of her first cousins. Robert and Veronica went on to have three daughters and two sons.

In 1974, she moved to Greensburg to live with her daughter, Margaret, and her son-in-law, David Dull. On 11 Mar 1977, Veronica died at the Westmoreland Hospital in Greenburg. She was buried at Calvary Cemetery.
