Pierre Guion was born on 18 Jul 1670 and baptized the following day in the parish of La-Visitation-de-Notre-Dame, Château-Richer, Canada, Nouvelle-France. His parents were Jean Guyon and Élisabeth Couillard. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Jean Cloustier and Louise Racine, wife of Simon Guion. The officiating priest was Follon.[1]
Marriage
Pierre Guyon married Angélique Testu du Tilly, daughter of Pierre Testu du Tilly and Geneviève Rigaud, on 11 Oct 1694 in L'Ange-Gardien. In the presence of known witnesses Charles Garnier, Nicolas Trudel, Pierre Maheu, and Nicolas Doyon. The celebrant priest was Dufournel.[2]
Death and Burial
Pierre Guyon passed away on 2 Oct 1697 being given the age of around 27 years on the record. His burial was on the 4th in Château-Richer. In the presence of known witnesses Guillaume Guyon, Guillaume Boucher and Nicolas Thibault. The officiating priest was Jean Gaultier.[3]
