Biography
Clara Gryzbek was born about in 1852 in near Harklowa in Galicia in Poland.
She married Jacob Zientek prior to 1875 (source needed).
In June 1902, she arrived in Philadelphia with her daughter, Magdalena, on the Haverford from Liverpool, England. [1][2] She listed her last residence as Nowy Targ in Poland. Because she had no money with her, she was pulled aside by the Philadelphia Special Boards of Inquiry. She stated she was bound to meet her husband in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania. He had arrived in the States 14 years earlier. He had returned to Poland to provide her with a ticket and money.[3]

She died sometime after the 1910 census. Some family have said she died in March 1929 in Lackawanna Co., Pennsylvania. (source needed).
