Biography
Roger Grosse was a Maryland colonist.
No birth record for Roger Grosse Jr. has been found. He must have been age 21 by 1678 when he sold land inherited from his father, so his birth year is estimated as 1657. He is proved to be the son of Roger Grosse because he is mentioned in the will of his elder brother, John Grosse who left him land in Talbot County on the Miles River.[1]
Property
On 29 APR 1678 Roger Gross of Talbot County conveyed to Charles Bardon of the same county a parcel formerly laid out for Roger Gross Sr. & late of the county of Anne Arundel, deceased, called ‘’Ashby’’ containing 800 acres . [2]
