In the 1920 census Wilbur (age 7) was the grandson of Eliza Griffin in Milton, Jefferson, Indiana.^[2]

In the 1930 census Wilber (age 18) was the single son of Frank Griffon on April 4 Halls Ridge road, Shelby, Jefferson, Indiana, United States.^[3]

Wilbur, son of Frank Griffin & Myrtle Lemen, died (age 21) on 10 May 1930 in Shelby, Jefferson, Indiana, United States.^[4]

Cause of death: Diabetes insipidus

Buried: Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Jefferson, Indiana.^[5]

Data Conflict

Wilbur's father gave Wilbur's birth year as 1909 when he was the informant on Wilbur's death certificate. This is not correct. His father was confused because his other son's birth year was 1909. The birth year on his birth certificate is obviously correct.
