GRIFFEY.— On the 3rd August, at Kapunda, Thomas, the beloved husband of Amelia Griffey, aged 55 years, leaving a wife and five sons to mourn their sad loss. — Inserted by Amelia Griffey. [6]

PERSONAL
Mr. Thomas Griffey, a respected resident of Kapunda for many years, died last week. He was born here 55 years ago, and had lived most of that time in and around Kapunda. He was employed at Anlaby for a number of years, and for the last 11 years had been in the employ of the Railway Department, and latterly had been stationed at Yarcowie. A widow and five sons (Messrs Patrick, Thomas, Eric, John, and Andrew) survive. [7]

Funeral Notice.
The friends of the late Mr. Thomas Griffey are respectfully informed that his remains will leave his late residence, Slight street, Kapunda, on Friday, August 5, at 2.30 o'clock, for St. John's cemetery.
