Biography

Silas Greenman, born about 1690 at Newport, Rhode Island, was the second child of Edward & Margaret Greenman.

He married three times:

1) 3 Jan 1715 at Kingstown, Rhode Island, Katharine Greenman; they had 6 children. Katharine died 17 Apr 1730, age 36 yrs.

2) 23 Mar 1731 at Kingstown, Rhode Island, Anne Babcock who died 13 May 1731.

2) 10 May 1737 Eunice Babcock of South Kingstown, Rhode Island [born 1713, Kingstown, Rhode Island, 7th child of George Babcock & Elizabeth (Hall) Babcock and they had 4 children;

Katherine, b. Apr. 22, 1738.

Abigail, b. Aug. 15, 1740.

Anna, b. Jan. 30, 1742.

Elizabeth, b. Nov. 5, 1744.
