Biography

Evelyn, the daughter of John Green and Olive Jones, was born on 20 February 1901. She was baptised at the Church of St James, Congleton, Cheshire on 14 April that year.^[1][2]

In the 1901 census Evelyn (age 0) was in Congleton, Cheshire, England.^[3]

In 1911 Evelyn (age 10) was still at Congleton with her parents.^[4]

Evelyn married Leonard Yearsley at the Church were she was baptised, St James' Congleton on Boxing Day, 26 December 1928.^[5]

At the time of the 1939 Register, Leonard and Evelyn were at 27 Vaudrey Crescent, Congleton. Leonard taught woodworking and cabinet making.^[1]
