Marriage Announcement: SHARP - GRAY - In Franklin Borough, on Thursday, April 18, 1889, at the residence of the bride's mother, by Rev. D. M. Miller, Mr. Daniel T. Sharp and Miss Maggie C. Gray.[3]

Death: February 17, 1913 at 43 years old, in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. [4]

Obituary: Mrs. Margaret C. Sharp, wife of D. T. Sharp, sr., died at 3:55 o’clock this morning at the Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for a few days. She was aged 43 years. The funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon, when services will be conducted by the Rev. George S. Bowden, pastor of the Conemaugh Presbyterian Church, of which Mrs. Sharp was a member for 25 years. The deceased whose maiden name was Margaret Gray, was born in Conemaugh on January 6, 1870, being a daughter of George B. Gray, deceased, and Mrs. Jessie T. Wilson. Mrs. Gray’s husband was killed on the Pennsylvania Railroad 39 years ago. David B. Wilson, her brother, met an untimely death at Mineral Point on April 9, 1912, and George Gray, her son, died of pneumonia about two months ago in the West Penn Hospital, Pittsburg.

Miss Margaret Gray and D. T. Sharp were married in Conemaugh 24 years ago by the late Rev. Dr. D. M. Miller, who was then the pastor of the Conemaugh Presbyterian Church. Besides her husband and mother, Mrs. Sharp is survived by the following children: the Misses Alpha, Jessie, Margaret, Homer G., and D. T. Sharp, jr., all of 257 Spruce street, Franklin Borough. She is also survived by a brother, John B. Gray, of Altoona, and a sister, Miss Mollie Gray, of Franklin Borough. Mrs. Sharp was for many years a member of the Sunday school of the Conemaugh Presbyterian Church and was identified with the Ladies Aid Society connected with the church. The deceased had been ill for several weeks before being taken to the hospital for an operation. [5]
