Biography

Born 3 Dec 1880, Downend, Gloucestershire, England, the daughter of George Grant and Mary Field. Baptised 16 Jan 1881, Christ Church, Downend, Gloucestershire, England. [1]

Margaret grew up at Downend, Mangotsfield, Gloucestershire, England. [2] After her mother died when she was seven years old, the family moved to live in Bristol. [3]

Circa 1899, she attended the Kensington Government School of Art, along with her sister Hilda. [4] She never married. The 1901 Census [5], and 1911 Census find her living with her family in Bristol. [6]

By 1939, she has moved to the Isle or Wight in Hampshire, England.[7] She died there in 1969, aged 88 years. [8]
