Biography

Stanley Algot Granstrom was born on the 14th of December, 1917 in Coos Bay Oregon. His parents Frank and Ida (Nyman) Granstrom both emigrated from Piteå, Sweden. Stan had an older sister named Gurli.

Stan married Marion Andre and together they had three children, Karen, Nancy and Frank. They lived in a house on Portland Ave in North Portland and then in the 1960s moved to SE Portland near 58th and Division St where they had a home built for them by Carl Utterström, who also built a home for his own family next door.

Stan and Marion were grandparents to Renee and Shana von Elten and Erik, Sarah and Lars Granstrom.

Stanley Granstrom passed away on October 5th, 1991. ^[1][2]
