They were married by licence [4] 22 Nov 1766 John Hutchinson (of Lanchester, age 30, yeoman) obtained a licence to marry Sarah Grainger (of Esh, age 17, daughter of John Grainger, who consents to the marriage), directed to Esh Surety: John Grainger, of Lanchester [3]
Sarah married John Burlison on 29 August 1769 in Lanchester, Durham, England.[5] 29 Aug 1769 John Burlison (of ye chapelry of St.Margaret in Durham) married Sarah Hutchinson (of this parish) Witnesses: Thomas Wilkinson; John Grainger; William Grainger [3]
They married by licence [6] 28 Aug 1769 John Burlison (of Crossgate, St. Margaret, Durham City, widower) obtained a licence to marry Sarah Hutchinson (of Lanchester, widow), directed to Lanchester Surety: William Lax, gentleman, of Durham City [3]
