Ida May Gould was born about 1858 in Minnesota Territory, daughter of Alonzo Gould (1829–~1866) and Ellison G Cooper (~1836–1921).
Ida married John Spencer about 1879.
They had at least one child together, Mabel; however the 1900 US Census lists that she has 2 living children.
Ida was committed to the Colorado State Insane Asylum in Pueblo, Colorado prior to 1910 and remained there until her death.
Ida died about 1933 in Grand Junction, Mesa, Colorado, United States, aged about 74. She was buried in Municipal Cemetery, Grand Junction, Colorado [1].
