Charles William Goodwin was born in Dec 1918. He was the son of Colin Goodwin and Charlotte Cole.

He enlisted in the Second Australian Imperial Force (AIF) for service overseas during the Second World War.[1] As a tradesman, he was promptly allocated to the 2/11th Australian Field Company, Australian Engineers.[2]
Roll of Honor
Charles Goodwin was wounded at Ambon during the Second World War.

Charlie was evacuated to Australia just prior to the island falling to the Japanese.
