George Eastman Goodrich was born on December 12, 1846, son of Milo Goodrich and Eunice Amanda (Eastman) Goodrich.[1]
He married Grace Luthera Grinnell on December 29, 1874. [1], with whom he had at least four children:
He died on August 16, 1935, and is buried in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, Tompkins County NY.[2]
George E. Goodrich was an author of The Centennial History of the Town of Dryden 1797-1897, first published in 1898.[3]

"George E. Goodrich, Esq., Dryden's historian, is here on a legal mission today."

"The next of kin in this vicinity of Hulda Ellis, late of Providence, R. I., have been receiving a distribution of $4,000 through George B. Davis, Esq., of this city. Mrs. Ellis was a descendant of John Ellis, who was know as "King of Dryden" and so noted in George E. Goodrich's history of that town. The distribution came during the holidays and the legates call their shares Christmas presents."
