Also in the home were their children: Sophrona, 11; Horace, 10; Charles, 8; Elizabeth, 7; Lydia, 5; Alvina, 4; and William, 1. Amelia and the children were all born in New York.[1]
GOINGS, WILLIAM.—Age, 28 years. Enlisted, July 23, 1862, at Macomb, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. C, August 27, 1862; mustered out with company, June 22, 1865, near Washington, D. C.; also borne as Gainys.[2]
