Marie Godin was born on 27 April 1662 and baptized two days later in Château-Richer, côte de Beaupré, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Charles Godin and Marie Boucher. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Nicolas Rousin and Marie St-Denys daughter of Pierre St-Denys. The officiating priest was Thomas Morel.[1][2]
Marriage
Marie Godin, aged 20 on the record, married Louis Goulet, aged 30 on the record, son of Jacques Goulet and Marguerite Mulier, on 7 September 1682 in L'Ange-Gardien. In the presence of known witnesses Charles Henou, Robert Laberge and Philippe Poitier. The celebrant priest was G. Gaultuer.[3]Louis passed away before 26 August 1683 in L'Ange-Gardien.

Marie Godin, widow of Louis Goulet, married Pierre Denys, son of Blais Denys and the late Jeanne de la Ponche, on 8 October 1687 in L'Ange-Gardien. In the presence of known witnesses François Gariepy, François Gariepy, Nicolas Roussin, and Charles Goulet. The celebrant priest was Charles Amador Martin.
