Early Goad was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.

Early Goad was born on December 2, 1883 in Huntsville, Scott County, Tennessee, United States, son of John Goad (~1863–>1905) and Mary Jane Hembree (1864–1935).[1]

Early married Irona McGhee (born on March 5, 1886 in Scott County; daughter of Sampson McGhee and Susannah (Low) McGhee). Their children were:

Early registered for the draft for World War I. [2]

Early died on October 2, 1948 in Huntsville, aged 64. He was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Huntsville, Scott County, Tennessee.[3] [4] [1]
