1891 baptised at Creagh RC church on 20th March 1891. Birth recorded as 5th March 1891. Sponsors are John Craffey and Mary Ryan [1][2]
1901census: James is 9 years old and living with his parents and 4 siblings in Cuilleen, Creagh, County Roscommon. He is attending school and can read and write[3].
1911 census: James is 20 years old and living at home with his parents and sister Kate in Cuilleen, Creagh. Occupation is recorded as Farmer's son. He can read and write[4]
1958 James died in Portiuncula Hospital from cancer of the stomach. Age recorded as 65 years. Occupation recorded as Farmer[5].
He is buried in Kilbegley Cemetery, Moore, County Roscommon, Ireland[6].
