Sarah was born in 1835. She was the daughter of John Gill and Hannah Davis.

Sarah died of pneumonia in 1915, an inmate of the "Wissenoming Old Ladies Home"
- The Old Ladies Home at Comly St. and State Rd., once the mansion of Matthias W. Baldwin, was purchased for use as a non-denominational home for aged women. In 1940, there were 111 women over 65 living there.
