George Gill was born at Lambeth, Surrey, England in 1857, son of Henry Gill and Sarah Downs.[1][2]
In 1881, George was living at Newington, Surrey with his parents, 4 brothers and three sisters.[3]
George Gill married Jane Cole at Newington, Surrey, England on the 25th of May 1884.[4]

George emigrated to Brisbane in 1885.
George Gill passed away at Coolangatta, Queensland in 1954.[5]
