Biography

Maria Concetta was born in 1882. She is the daughter of Vitaliano Giancola and Maria Bavota. She travelled to Canada trough Boston, Massachusetts in November 1911, together with her daughter Anna who was 9 years old.

Research Notes

On the passenger record of her brother Pasquale in 1907, he declared a brother in law Tommaso Villarosa as nearest contact. As Pasquale wasn't married yet at that time, this could only be the husband of a sister. As Maria Conetta was his only sister to marry, this would have to be her husband. But I couldn't find their marriage in the records in Larino 1898-1900. This needs further research in the church records after 1900. Their daughter Anna was born about 1902, they probably married before her birth. Caruso-344 14:42, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
