Lucille Irene Gehrtz was born 18 Jun 1917 in Baudette Township, Beltrami, Minnesota to Peter Gehrtz and Edith Viola Dundas.^[1][2]

She married Walter Krause on 6 Aug 1936 Greeley, Weld, Colorado.^[3] They lived in Greeley, Colorado.^[4]

Lucile Krause passed away in her home on 25 Mar 1997^[5][6] in Magalia, Butte, California.^[7] Her obituary states she died 25 Apr 1997 in her Magalia residence.^[8] This conflicts with her formal death records listing March as the month of her death and not April. The obituary is in error.
