Biography
Constance (Gay) Golson is a part of US Black heritage.
Constance Delores Gay was born about 1931 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.[1] She was the daughter of Leroy Gay and Marie Anderson.[2] She grew up in Akron, Summit County, Ohio. In 1940, she was living there with her mother, siblings, and grandmother Cora Anderson.[1][3]
Constance married James Foreman in 1948.[2]
Around 1960, Constance married George Golson. They had a daughter Freda.[1]
Constance died on 4 May 1986 in Akron, Summit County, Ohio. She was buried in Mount Peace Cemetery in Akron.[4][1]
