Harold was born in 1902. He was the son of Mirt Gatton and Addie Wilson. He passed away in 1991.
Research Notes
Find a Grave lists DOB of Feb 24, 1904. Their attached obituary lists Feb 21, 1904. Their attached photo of the headstone is worthless as it was taken so far away that the dates are unreadable. Iowa Birth Records, WW2 Draft Card, Social and Security records all list Feb 21, 1902. (Florida death index lists Feb 21, 1901 and Iowa Old Age Assistance lists Feb 22, 1902...both of these nearly match the correct date.) In addition, ages on censuses are 8 in 1910, 13 in 1915, 18 in 1920, etc. all indicating birth in 1902.
