Biography

Catharine was born about 1746 and was baptised at the Church of St Peter, Congleton Cheshire on 6 April that year.[1] She married Thomas Duncalf in Astbury on 15 May 1769.[2]

She married Thomas Duncalf (bef.1755-) on 15 May 1769 at Astbury, Cheshire, England.[3] They had at least seven children, who were all baptiesed in Congleton or Astbury (near Congleton), Cheshire:

  1. Nathan (baptised 1770)
  2. Hannah (1772)
  3. John (baptised 1776)
  4. Joseph (baptised 1778)
  5. Sarah (baptised 1779)
  6. George (baptised 1781)
  7. Mary (1784)

George and Mary both died in infancy.

Catherine passed away in 1801 and was buried at Congleton on 25 January that year.[4]
