Biography
Catherine was born in 1848. She is the daughter of James Garrow and Ann Fraser.
Catherine died on 5 February 1863. She was buried at Kinloss Abbey churchyard. The epitaph reads[1]:
Erected by JAMES GARROW, in memory of his beloved wife ANN FRASER, who died 7TH March 1872, aged 62 years. Their son PETER died at Nursingpore, East Indies, 1ST June 1868, aged 32 years. Their daughter CATHERINE died 5TH Feby. 1863, aged 14 years. And the said JAMES GARROW, of Mount Villa, Findhorn died 19TH March 1895, aged 90 years. Their daughter MARGARET widow of ALEXANDER MCCONACHIE, Glenrinnes, died at Findhorn, 18TH April 1908, aged 78 years. Their daughter, ANN died at Findhorn 14TH March 1911, aged 70 years. Their son JOHN died at Cullerne House 11TH November 1917, aged 79 years. (Mason, R.S. Kemp, Forres)
