Edith Amy Garrett was born about 1896 at Box Hill, Victoria, Australia. She was a daughter of Thomas Henry Garrett and Elizabeth Robertson.[1]
She was a trained nurse.
She married decorated Great War veteran, Donovan Joynt on 19th March 1932 in a civil ceremony at Hawthorn, Victoria.[2] They rented, then bought, Tom Roberts’ old home, Talisman, at Kallista, Victoria and lived there until they built their own home nearby.
She passed away, aged 82 years, in 1978 at Mount Eliza, Victoria.[3]
