George was born in 1829. His parents were Joseph and Martha Garnett. He was christened on 19 April 1829 at Silkstone, Yorkhsire [1]
George died 1838 when he was 9 years old. He was a victim of the Huskar Colliery disaster. [2] He was buried on 7 July 1838 in Silkstone Church Yard with the other children who died the same day.[3]
