Dave married Carmen Mary Menendez (born on August 31, 1921) on August 31, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri[1].
Dave died on May 22, 2018 in San Diego, San Diego, California, United States, aged 97. He was buried in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, San Diego County, California.[2]
