Biography
David was born in 1809.
David Ganton was an early settler in Medonte Township, Upper Canada. He settled on Lot 8 (W 1/2), Concession 3.[1]
He is recorded in the 1861 Census of Canada West in Medonte. He and his wife Jennet had eight children living at home on their farm. The local school teacher boarded with the family.[2]
He passed away in 1871.
