Bernard/Bryan Galway was born around 1838, the son of John Galway.

He married Ellen Healy in 1870 in Victoria, Australia.^[1] Their children were:

• Catharine Elsie Galway (1876–?)
• Susannah Galway (1878–?)

Bernard died on 18 September 1915 in Koroit, Victoria, aged 77 years.^[3][4]
