Biography

Pia (Galanti) DeLillo has Italian Roots.

Pia was born in 1895. She was the daughter of Valerio Galanti and Maria Dei.

She emigrated to the US on 23 Apr 1921 with her mother and brother Pietro aboard the SS Dante Alighieri. ^[1]

On 14 Jul 1924, when she was 29 years old, she married Louis De Lellis (age 30) in Delaware - Note: their family name appears as DeLillo on her death certificate. ^[2]

She passed away in 1973.
