Biography

Joyce "Joy" Elaine Frye was born on August 10, 1929 in Shamrock, Texas to Daniel Warren "D.W." Frye and Alma Pearl Watson.[1] Joyce's mother Alma died in childbirth with her younger brother Doug. D.W. later remarried to Leota Rea Johnson who then adopted Joyce and her younger brother Doug.

Joyce had two siblings:

Joy married Robert "Bob" Dale Love on April 10, 1947 In Houston, Texas. [2][3] Joy had four children with Bob Love:

Joyce was recorded in the following US census:

Joy died of kidney failure in Highland General Hospital located in Pampa, Texas on July 14, 1974.[5] Joy was buried on July 16, 1974 in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas. [6]
