Staff Sergeant Earl Frost was Killed in Action over Romania in Operation Tidal Wave during World War II.
He was born on 27 April 1922 in Mansfield, Pennsylvania
He was killed in action when the B-24 bomber, Euroclydon The Storm, took a direct anti-aircraft hit over the target in Ploesti Rumania during Operation Tidal Wave on 1 August 1943. Earl was a gunner on the bomber. He was posthumously awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for the mission.
