Biography

US Black Heritage Project
Cheshire Froe is a part of US Black heritage.

In the 1870 census Chesher (age 22), Farm Laborer, was in Maiden Spring, Tazewell, Virginia.[1]

Cheshire served in the Union Army during the Civil War with the 13th US Colored Heavy Artillery and the 121st US Colored Infantry.[2]

Chesier (age 25), son of Jos. Froe & Annie Froe, married Leah Singleton on 18 December 1873 in Washington Co., Virginia.[3]

In the 1880 census Chester (age 20), Laborer, was the married head of household in New Garden, Russell, Virginia, United States.[4]

Cheshire died on 20 July 1910 and was buried in Bryant Memorial Cemetery, Mercer County, West Virginia, United States.
