Sarah (Fricker) Coleridge was buried 30 Sept 1845 at St Michael, Highgate, Middlesex, England. Her age was recorded as 75.[1]

  • possibly the d/o Stephen Fricker & Martha Rowles[2]
  • Oct 1795 m. Samuel Taylor Coleridge[3] - 3 children (separated in 1808)
  • two sisters married Coleridge's compatriots Southey (Edith[4][5]) and Lovell (Mary[2])[3]
  • dropped the "h" from her name to please her husband[6]
  • she and her children lived with her brother-in-law, the poet Robert Southey, when Coleridge abandoned her
