It's possible that Edward's parents were living in South Melbourne when they separated in about 1899 after 33 years of marriage.
It's possible Edward was working as an engineer and living at Neville Street, Clovelly, when he collapsed in 1922, in Long Bay Reserve.
In 1826, while living at Bay Parade, Long Bay, Edward reported the theft of some valuables, including a silver hunting watch with 'Henry' on the dial and a round gold medal engraved 'Australian Engineers'.
Edward passed away in Sydney in 1938, aged about 72. He was buried in the Catholic Cemetery, Rookwood, on Saturday 19 March by Labor Motor Funerals of Newtown.
