In the 1851 census Robert (age 40), Labourer, was the head of household in Bridge Of Don Village, Bridge of Don, Old Machar, Aberdeenshire.[3]
In the 1871 census Robert (age 60), Farmer Of 37 Acres, was the head of household in Wardhillock, Belhelvie, Aberdeenshire.[4]
Robert's death (age 78) was registered in 1885 in the Belhelvie district.[5]
