Alice was the daughter of James Francis and Elizabeth Young. Alice, child of James Francis & Elizabeth Francis, was born on 2 November 1883 and baptised on 9 December 1883 in Merton, St Mary, Surrey, England.^[1]

On 28 Feb 1906 she married Walter Himstedt at Biarra, Queensland. ^[2]

She died in 1973.^[3]
