Catherine, I'm contacting you as Profile Manager re Daniel Ruble, my great-great grandfather. I am definitely a "newby" here and need your assistance. Thanks, Larry Stumpp

Very Interesting My grandmother was Effie and Fred McArthur's daughter Effie. She always told me we were related to General McArthur and when I helped clean out her house she had a framed picture of him hanging in the house. I have quite a lot of info on the Linn County McArthur's including the fact that John McArthur the second I guess he would be was a state senator here and he was also a surveyor who set out the county boundaries for what he called Vinton county which has since been re named Benton County. I guess the city of Palo honored him at their centennial a number of years back. I am looking for a picture of him thay had published. Where do you live? I am very interested in the Canady/McArthur connection and the divorce of Robert from Elizabeth and his remarriage to Kate Winnie
