Biography
James S. Foster, son of Albert Foster and Clarissa Maxson, was born 20 Nov 1828. He died 29 Sep 1890 at Mitchell, South Dakota. James married 6 Apr 1852, at Spafford, New York, Frances Ann Ripley, born 17 Jan 1835, daughter of David and Sarah Jane (Eliot) Ripley.[1][2]
